David brings 14 years of mortgage lending experience and more than 18 years in banking and financial services to Canvas Mortgage. His career began in 2008 when he entered the financial services industry by obtaining his insurance license along with his Series 6 and 63 licenses, allowing him to work with investment products such as fixed and variable annuities, mutual funds, and whole life insurance. This led him to serve as a Preferred Relationship Manager, working closely with a dedicated book of clients to guide their financial decisions.

Over the years David discovered that his greatest professional satisfaction comes from helping individuals and families achieve their dream of homeownership. With 14 years of mortgage lending experience he understands that buying a home is one of the most significant financial decisions a person can make, and he takes pride in walking his clients through every step of the mortgage process to ensure they feel confident, informed, and supported from application to closing.

David is a graduate of the University of South Alabama and a proud Mobile, AL native. Outside of work, he enjoys running, spending time outdoors, staying active with his Mardi Gras organization, grilling out, and, of course, cheering on Alabama football. David is also a devoted dad to his 9-year-old daughter and dog-dad to Daisy, his border collie mix.
